Seeking Licensed Psychologists & Post-doctoral Fellows
Private Practice Specializing in OCD, O-C Spectrum Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, & Phobias
 
Seeking outstanding candidate for a Licensed Psychologist or Post-doctoral Fellow position at the Jacob Center for Evidence-Based Treatment! The position will focus on provision of clinical services with children, adolescents, parents/families, and adults, in a private practice that specializes in treatment for OCD, O-C Spectrum Disorders, Anxiety Disorder, & Phobias.
 
Supervision, mentorship, and professional development will be provided. There will also be opportunities for involvement in community outreach efforts (e.g., presentations/workshops) and relevant organizations (OCD Central & South Florida) if interested. Start date and hours worked are flexible. Preference will be given to candidates who are interested in growth opportunities with this practice.
 
The ideal candidate will:
  • Have strong training in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), and other evidence-based treatments (e.g., Habit Reversal Training/Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics; Behavior Management & Parent Training).
  • Have significant experience and training in providing treatment with children, adolescents, parents, and families.
  • Have previous experience working with some of the following presenting problems:
  • Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder; Obsessive-Compulsive Spectrum Disorders (e.g., Tics/Tourette’s Disorder; Body Dysmorphic Disorder, Hoarding, Trichotillomania/Hair-Pulling, Excoriation/Skin-Picking Disorder); Anxiety Disorders (Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety, Separation Anxiety, Panic Disorder); Phobias; Child Behavior Problems.
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills and organizational skills.
 
This position requires:
  1. Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology or a related program, from an APA-accredited college/university.
  2. Completed APA-accredited internship
  3. License or license eligibility in Florida
