Individual outpatient therapy is generally provided on a once-weekly basis, though the frequency of sessions may vary depending on the nature and the extent of current difficulties, as well as treatment progress. Clinicians at the Jacob Center for Evidence-Based Treatment primarily conduct cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), including use of exposure therapy, exposure and response prevention for OCD (ERP), and habit reversal training (HRT) in the treatment of our patients. Our providers use the following evidence-based treatment approaches, which means that the treatment strategies we use are supported by significant empirical research.
